Taziki, otherwise known as Tzatziki or Tadziki, is a wonderful and truly versatile spice.
Tzatziki is known as a classic Greek snack sauce made from Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice or vinegar and fresh herbs. Although the recipe may vary from region to region in Greece, it is served with a meal or small snack and can remain on the table as a seasoning for roasted meat and vegetables.
Saffron produced spice Taziki adds to a much wider range of dishes, because it has a great, simple and at the same time universal composition. This spice is great for preparing not only cold snack sauces, but it is added to soups, marinating shashlik, pasta and rice dishes, oven and pan-cooked meat dishes. Taziki will also give a wonderful taste to breakfast dishes - we recommend adding it to breakfast omelettes, beef, cottage cheese with cream. On the other hand, when preparing fresh salad with oil, it will be enough to add only Taziki spice to get a saturated taste.
